Employee refusing the customer to talk to Manage

I took a replacement phone from the insurance at Vodacom 4U Centurion, which had a problem with the camera when I switch it on. Before I got help from the Manager Pieter at the Shop I had to make call with Customer service to just check my rights around getting a new device as I could not get a new phone to be fixed because Vodacare checked it and advised me that it is a factory fault.

The lady by the name of Akhona at customer service told me it is the shop's policy there is nothing they do about it so I told her that I don't think she know or understand the consumer rights, I told her to put me to her supervisor and she refused until I call again and spoke to her supervisor.

While I was busy with Customer Care supervisor the Centurion Vodacom 4U manager on Duty Mr Pieter assisted me which I really appreciated very much. Akhona has no rights to refuse me to speak to the manager so that I can understand things that does not make sense to me and I don't appreciated that at all. I spend so much money with Vodacom and to get this kind of attitude it me off.
