Telkom mobile issue re SMS notifications from ABSA

Hi

I ported from CellC to Telkom mobile about a month ago. Firstly there was a problem with me sending and receiving sms's. After many many Telkom mobile call centre calls it was later resolved by Telkom mobile, so I am now able to send and receive sms's.

However I am still unable to receive sms notifications and RVN sms's from ABSA online banking. Which means I cannot change use my internet banking fully, as some functions requires one to enter a security (RVN) code sent to my mobile phone.

Telkom mobile call centre seems to be unaware of such issues, yet ABSA call centre tells me it is a common problem with numbers ported to Telkom mobile.

I am stuck inbetween the two call centres and have no idea where the problem actually.

Anyone else experiencing a similar problem?
