I have a Samsung S4 which is insured through mtn. The phone got damaged (cracked LCD). I tried contacting the call centre and held forever. I then called 808 who tried to put me through to the insurance department with no luck (I was second in line for 45min). I then visited MTN head office. I was assisted by a very competent lady who arranged for my phone to be picked up and I opted not take the courtesy phone she offered as this would speed up the process. The phone was subsequently picked up (a day later than scheduled) and I have heard nothing ever since. I wonder if I will ever get my phone back. The service is truly shocking.
