Screen does not last, inferior quality

A year ago I replaced my screen on my BB Bold, paid over a R1000 with Vodacom now one year and 4 days later I have the same problem, and told that I have to pay between R800 - R1000 to have the screen replaced again. My problem is that does the Vodacom products only last one year, and therefore only gurantee their products for a year. To be honest, the problem occured within the last few days of the warranty but I reported it 4 days after the warranty expired.
Extremely disapointed with the products quality.
