Ilegal Advetising adn coersion to upgrade

I use MWEB as my supplier for a internet service I am supposed to be supplied with a 1 MEG UNCAPPED line.
Last September I noticed that I was unable to download mail or connect to web sights and I had to frequently reboot my modem in order just to keep my internet running. After a thorough investigation I found out that they had throttled my service to 100KBPS. When I Phoned the HELP desk and asked why. I was put through to a manager. He was very unhelpful. He told me that I was downloading too much data on the line I was paying for and would need to upgrade or remain throttled. I was told that I was in breach of there AUP document. No where in the document does it say that I can only down load a certain amount of data on an UNCAPPED line. at there discretion however they can throttle or remove my service. UNCAPPED means unlimited data. I was never made aware at the out set that UNLIMITED UNCAPPED meant at there discretion. This is illegal advertising. and the only reason they are throttling my band width is so I will buy a bigger line.
