I have been locked out of my internet and mobile Vodacom app as I requested a password reminder, received an OTP, then a security question, which according to Vodacom I answered incorrectly! The question was my YEAR OF BIRTH! For goodness sake, don't you think I know when I was born??? Pathetic. This happened over 2 months ago already, but I just didn't have the energy to phone their call centre. I eventually did so on Friday 29 Nov 2013, and a call was logged (after a VERY painful 10 minutes). I was promised a call-back within 24 hours to resolve the matter and was given a reference number S3-T6G2E-EBX5I, and SURPRISE SURPRISE, NO ONE has bothered phoning me to resolve. As usual Vodacom, you are pathetic. I will not be upgrading this December, but will wait for March to cancel my account and move to Cell-C after 12 years of deteriorating service from Vodacom. Adios.
