MTN had technical issues in the beginning of December 2012. I was defrauded in the process. It's pretty simple: They showed me I had plenty of Bundle Data Available in 2 places; the login/users account overview page usb stick modem's software that I frequently refresh.
MTN system/software could've had bugs, security breached who knows? & my sim card apparently used more than 13 GIGs in a space of 20 hrs. Prob. IMPOSSIBLE where I live, I get EDGE, and sometimes 3G, but its on/off. I made several enquiries, was shown and told by MTN personal that their mistake must've been fixed because my account was at 0.00. NOT THE TRUTH. they TOOK 2798-59 out my bank account anyway. Contract customers BEWARE. I know I can never ever trust MTN again, that's for sure.
All my bills are - the same way less than 2Gigs/month because I MONITOR THE BUNDLE BALANCE CAREFULLY (about R200/month) But every MTN person who has responded CAN'T SEE over 13Gigs in 20Hrs as peculiar. Their response (in short) "Well our system says so, so it must be right." - Seriously? Why employ humans when they just repeat what the computer says.
This is sad, hurts the part of you that has faith in people and companies.
