Worst cellphone provider in South Africa

I have had consistently bad service from Cell C over the years that I have been signed up with them.
They are incapable of granting simple requests or supplying correct information. On many occasions the call centre and shop assistants have given contradictory information, leading to me wasting my money on unnecessary sim cards and data.

I am finally registering a complaint after yesterday's encounter at the Cavendish Branch. I signed a form 2 months ago cancelling my contract, and am in the process of moving over to Vodacom. In order to port my number I needed my old Cell C account number, and so went to the Cell C store to get it. I was informed (after a good 20 minutes without any communication from shop assistants) that there is no record of me cancelling my contract. Now I am stuck paying for my contract for an extra month while paying for my new contract. I also cannot port my number since this can only go through after the account is cancelled, and I will miss out on my Vodacom deal if I wait another month.

Cell C is without a doubt one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with and my entire family will be cancelling their contracts within the next month.
