I have been living in Australia form the past 2 1/2 years and have left my Vodacom account open. I have today received a transaction that exceed the monthly amount of /- R200 to R819. I contacted Vodacom and they tell me that the account was upgraded online.
The monthly statements are proof that the account has not be utilized so why upgrade?
I have no access to this account.
How does this happen and during the investigation am I responsible for payment?
Now I have been instructed to sign an affidavit as well as forward my ID to an automated email. Wonderful!
I am lost for words!
