I contacted Cell C's call centre and completed a contract over the phone with the following understanding:
I wanted a Z10 on the Straight Up 400 Premium Plan, the phone (black in colour) was in stock, I wanted to port my number from my current service provider (contract is finished) and delivery would happen in 7 to 10 days max. During the second week I phoned to confirm my phone was on its way to me (dispatched) on day 10 I followed up only to be told that my delivery would not be taking place as the phone is out of stock. I asked how this was possible as the stock was checked on the system while I agreed to the contract and there were phones available. To this I was told that this was someone else's department and he couldn't explain why this has happened. I am VERY frustrated as I chose to move to Cell C and not upgrade with my current service provider as Cell C seemed like an operator that does care about the consumer and has excellent deals available. It is now day 15 and nobody can tell me when I might get my phone.
