CONFUSED CUSTOMER CARE

I have two accounts with 8ta. One is a contract account which I used in my BlackBerry cellphone and the other is a pre-paid account only used in my 3G Internet dongle for internet browsing.
My BlackBerry cell phone was on Sunday 2013-12-01 and I called the 8ta customer care line at 081 180 at 7:42am on 2013-12-03 to have the contract SIM card blocked. The 8ta customer care line voice prompts asked that I punch in the number for which the query related to and I punched in the contract SIM card number. After doing this the call was transferred to a consultant. She assisted in blocking the number and I even verbally gave her the number once again.
After the call I noticed that 8ta blocked my pre-paid SIM number instead of the contract SIM number meaning that I was now inconvenienced since I could no longer use my 3G dongle and the was still out there possibly enjoying my contract account.
I called back and a different consultant then told me that they cannot reverse the block on the prepaid number and that I would have to visit an 8ta store and pay R35 to have a SIM swop done.
I am now left with a useless prepaid SIM card. Well done 8ta.
