2 weeks ago I was in the Waterfront shopping with my mother when both of our cell phones were out of my bag.

We went to the MTN shop in the Waterfront to block the SIM card and blacklist the cell phone, that was done now problem, BUT when we asked whether the cell phone was insured or not we were informed that there is nothing on the system so no the cell phone is not ensured.

I then went into MTN at Somerset Mall 3 days later just to ask them a question about the SIM swap I told them gentleman the story and he asked whether or not I knew if the phone was insured with 24hr Mobility, of course I didn't know as I was never told by the sales consultant that I signed my contract with.

3 Days ago we sent the insurance company the proof of payment for the excess of the claim and were told that they would deliver the phone Monday or Tuesday... Today is Monday and this morning I received a call from the insurance and they had no idea what I was talking about and they asked me to send them the proof of payment again. When I asked them when would I be getting my phone the answer was not tomorrow...

ridiculous!
