18 Months ago I took out a 2 gig data contract with Nashua Mobile, I explicitly expressed my wishes for it to have the limit of the 2 gig and furthermore insisted on call limit for no more than R5.00, this was loaded on my account. I pay R159.00 for this monthly service.
In November a debit order went off my account for no less than R2858.41, after almost collapsing, I rushed in just to find out that having a 2gig data contract does not restrict you to the 2gigs, even though a call limit was loaded. I refused to accept this, and insisted on a call to be logged and a reference number.
Shock... I received another account in December 2012 for no less than... R8240.06. In I go again, there response to me: "Good day - Please be advised that as per the Nashua terms and conditions, the call limit is not a guaranteed service."
I asked for a copy of the T & C's that I signed, they did not have one. I asked for a normal copy & the T & C's reads as follows:
"5 Call Limits
5.1 We may place a call limit on your account based on your credit record, and/or you may request us to put a call limit in your account in order to monitor your own cellular spend.
