I was approached by Afrihost as part of a major Campaign to sign up for a mobile Internet Solution and have been lead to believe that by paying R 197.00 per month (after buying the mobile modem/ wifi router for R 800.00) I will be getting 10GB of data per month for as. Long as I pay monthly without any contract at all. No one at the Afrihost mentioned (and I have done the contract over the phone with a consultant) that this only applies till the end of November and from then on I will only be getting 7 GB data per month (3 GB less per month).
When I have complained this afternoon about it they obviously mentioned it was advertised on the contract somewhere and I should have been reading it all (Fine print syndrome) and there is nothing they can do about it.
I have a reason to believe this is cheating and unfair and using certain text that can be interpreted in Two different ways to the advantage of selling a product which is a Disadvantage to a customer shortly down the line.
This is outrages and should be set as a Bad example of marketing and customer abuse in its most simple and wrong way.
