Cable told will have to have wireless phone

Our line was reported as not working. After calling weekly; I was told that the cable and will not be replaced another person would call to explain a wireless phone. Nobody else called.
I went into Telkom and asked about this wireless system I was told they did not have stock could not get more information or a brochere how the wireless works. Telkom did credit my account for non service after my visit, but this non service is now six weeks! All I want is a telephone line that works. Please send a technician to set up new service
