Placed an order for a home line with Telkom on the 16th of Sep 2013 only to be told on the 25th after calling them that due to copper Telkom would not be offering copper lines to my street again and I should go wireless with Telkom. I have taken a walk up and down my street and can see poles with copper lines to homes next door to my block of flats. My street has /- 2000 people living in apartments and clusters, I guess Telkom don't need the money. After calling them back and asking that a tech come out and show me where the problem is I was told, sorry but we can not help you. Today the 28th I went into the Telkom shop to get a wireless phone only to be told that Telkom have not had stock of the wireless phones since June 2013.
