WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH VODACOM 3G COVERAGE???

In the last few years I have purchased two Vodacom 3G dongles - one for my business and one for home. I live in Swallow Close, Umhlanga (Prestondale) area and work in Silver Avenue, Morningside, Durban area.

Last year, after several phone calls to Vodacom complaining about the diminishing 3G coverage with no improvement in Prestondale I had to get an ADSL line from M-web so that I could use the Internet at home - never mind I had a contract with Vodacom that I still had to pay for!!!

Now this year the same thing has happened at work. We use a 3G dongle at work as a router fall-over should our work ADSL line or Telkom line go down. Again the coverage is so poor it takes 30 seconds just to load Google never mind function properly. Our ADSL line has twice gone down in the last 2 months and on both occasions our business which relies heavily every second of the day on internet was brought to a standstill as our back-up 3G did not work properly.

I have had this dongle tested by a Vodacom employee at his home and it is working fine there.

Hopefully Vodacom is interested in supporting the products they sell which are not usable!!!
