Hi there,
This is the 2nd time we're tried logging a service request with Vodacom's online Customer Care, however each time we receive an auto-reply requesting further authentication details, but these auth details I feel are unnecessary and risky in today's age of IT.
The auth details requested are:
1. ID Number
2. Bank Name & Account Type
3. Vodacom Account #
Granted they're not asking for PIN numbers and the like, however even these 3 details are enough to open someone up to matters of.
Please would you rather contact us and confirm any such details verbally if necessary - not via a clear-text unencrypted e-mail,
