Vodacom
Charges

Sending e mail on behalf of my mother in law Mrs Wiese:

Mrs Wiese went into the Vodacom Shop in Malmesbury Western Cape Tel no 022 482 3872 Wednesday 20 November 2013 at 16h00 to ask for assistance with loading a new version of the Whatsapp application.

Eugene then asked for R 89 from Mrs Wiese for air time and data to upgrade the Whatsapp application, which Mrs Wiese paid for in cash.

He then afterwards asked her for another R 50 (also paid in cash) which was supposedly the charge to perform the service
which was just left on a colleague's desk and not deposited into the till with a receipt issued as should be the norm.

Eugene kept the phone overnight and returned it to Mrs Wiese the following day without any data or airtime left on her phone.

It does not cost R50 to load a Whatsapp application, only R7 for the whole year for a new application and she had the application already on her phone, it just needed to be updated to the newer version, which does not cost anything.
