I made a stupid mistake and decided to port to Cell C from MTN earlier this year - BIGGEST MISTAKE ever. It has been a nightmare from day one. More often than not I can't seem to make outgoing calls, get a data connection or receive messages. I also have people complaining all the time that they cannot get through to my number. I have tried to contact Cell C to resolve this issue and always land up at the call centre which is quite frankly useless and almost always make promises they don't keep. They have sent someone out to see me and check my phone and settings and still no feedback.
I have logged a complaint with ICASA so let's see maybe they can do something as I don't see why I should pay for a service I am not receiving.
Think twice before considering a move to Cell C.
