ON 18 November 2013 morning my two year old son drop my iPhone 4s on the toilet and flushed it. He the pointed to me that the phone was in the toilet. but I could not see the phone and I did not put my hand to see if it is there. I assumed it has been flushed down.
I reported the incident to MTN and the phone was blocked and i reported to the police. a case number was issued. I filled in the claim form as required. I then contacted MTN Insurance on 20 November 2013 to inquire about the progress of my claim. I spoke to Herbert and he kept me on hold for more than 20 minutes. When he returned he told me my claim was rejected as it was impossible for the phone to be flushed.
the IPhone weighs about 140 grams and the outlet pipe is more than 100 mm wide in circumference so it is possible for the phone to be flushed down.
