I bought a 1gig data bundle during September which was valid until 31 October. At the end of September, Vodacom decided to remove the remaining balance of my data bundles - a technical error which they acknowledged. Since the 10th of October, I was promised that I will be reallocated data bundles due to their error. I waited a 14 working day period for this to be sorted out. After waiting the first 14 working day period, I received an sms from the customer care stating that I will receive data bundles, which never happened. I called the customer care and notified them that I received no data. I was again told that there was a technical error in allocating the bundles and that I should wait another 14 working day period - which I reluctantly did. I received another sms on Friday 15th October stating that the issue has been resolved and I will receive a 1 gig bundle within 4 hours... that has still not happened. I have now tried to call customer care and waited 30 minutes on the line to speak to someone. I eventually gave upon the call! I have waited for close to 1.5 months for them to sort this out and it is absolutely atrocious service given the astronomical fees they charge.
