I upgraded my blackberry to a Samsung S4 in August this year. I was advised by the consultant at the time that the BIS charge would fall away as the new contract came into place in September 2013. I find out now in my November billing that the BB charge is still being billed to me and the Vodacom call centre said to me this morning that the BIS does not fall away, regardless of what contract you upgrade to or to what cell phone I am now using. If this is not an automatic change then surely the consultant at the time of the upgrade should have realised this and made a note to change the billing in September. Looks like while you are customer of Vodacom you also have to work for them to ensure that they bill their clients correctly. I suppose everybody is out to the public to make a quick buck!
