Earlier this year, 2013, I upgraded my business phone contract. I signed a contract for a certain amount with all details of the agreement on contract to my approval. After I checked my statement two months later I discovered that an extra levy was being charged.
After contacting head office I was informed that it was a handset fee. This fee was not charged on my initial contract 2 years earlier and it was nowhere to be found on the contract or the Yellow deals magazine, where the package appeared.
Head office has refused to reverse these charges, because they claim it is correct.
I want the handset fee reversed because I didn't agree to it on the contract that I signed and the shop assistant didn't inform me verbally of it either.
