Pre-Ordered iPhone 5S given to another client

I pre-ordered an iPhone 5S 64 gig Gold from the MTN store at Brooklyn Mall Design Square on 09/11/2013 as part of my upgrade. On 15/11/2013 I was contacted and told that my phone was awaiting collection. The model, size and colour was confirmed telephonically and I informed that I would collect the phone after 12:00 but before closing time on 16/11/2013. Upon visiting the MTN store today I was appalled by the lack of service. There were no staff members to welcome you or direct you to the correct queue. When I was finally assisted I provided my details to a staff member and indicated to her that I had been informed telephonically that my iPhone was ready for collection. She appeared uneasy and went into the storeroom, reappearing a few minutes later and informed me that they had no 64 gig iPhones in stock. I reiterated that I was informed that my phone had arrived. After discussions with another staff member (who confirmed that she did call me) I was informed that my phone had given to another customer. Surely the store is obligated to hold onto the phone to honour a pre-order or at least inform me if they cannot hold the phone. Bad service MTN!! You will be losing a loyal custome
