I JUST UPGRADED MY CONTRACT TO AN IPAD. AND I SPECIFICALLY ASKED VODACOM TO PUT ME ON TOP UP. TO MY SURPRISE MY BLACKBERRY PHONE WAS LOCKED LAST WEEK THURS. SO I CALL VODACOM TO FIND OUT WHY AND I WAS ADVISED THAT I HAVE REACHED MY CREDIT LIMIT. & WAS ADVISED TO CALL THE ACCOUNTS DEP AFTER 8AM. SO I CALLED ON THURS GOT THROUGH TO PRINCE WHO TOLD ME THAT MY ACC SHOULD ACTUALLY BE ON TOP UP BUT I HAVE BEEN BILLED. SO I ASKED HIM WHAT CAN I DO. HE SAYS HE WILL REFER THE MATTER THEIR SPECIALIST & THEY WILL GET BACK TO IN 24HRS. GUESS WHAT 28HRS LATER STILL NO FEEDBACK. SO I CALLED BACK GOT THROUGH A THATO WHO WAS FULL OF ATTITUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. HE SAID SOMEONE WILL GET BACK TO ME FROM THE SPECIALIST DEP. YESTERDAY AROUND 13H00 I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED FEEDBACK. I CALLED BACK AND I SPOKE TO A VERY HELPFUL CATHY WHO TRIED TO ASSIST BUT COULDN'T AS SHE COULDN'T GET HOLD OF THE PERSON WHO IS DEALING WITH MY QUERY. TILL NOW I STILL HAVE NO FEEDBACK. FROM LAST WEEK THURS I CAN'T USE MY PHONE I CAN ONLY RECEIVE CALLS. BECAUSE MY LINES ARE LINKED. IF I AM HAVING PROBLEMS NOW AND I HAVE A 2 YEAR CONTRACT.
