On the 25th of September, Tarryn Fredericks contacted me on renewing my 8ta/Telkom Mobile contract. Once I renew, I would be receiving the following benefits:
10GB Anytime data
Free 10GB Night Surfer (11pm-5am)
Free Unlimited wi-fi access at any Telkom Mobile wi-fi hotspots
This package is also LTE enabled if you have Telkom Mobile LTE coverage and an LTE enabled device
This entire package will still cost you R199 per month. This offer wasn't offered in the stores, only to exclusively to renewal customers.
After numerous back and forth emails on making sure that this offer was not a hoax, I gladly consented.
On the 12th of October I got my first statement and I had been billed R299.00 I emailed my query to her, and she assured me there was an error and it would be rectified. I have received my recent statement, and it is still R299.00. After emailing her again, I have not received a reply.
I am quite hurt that I was to about the price of this special, as I did not want to pay more than what I had already been paying.
