Outrageous Roaming Fees

I must warn fellow SA's travelling abroad about Vodacom's outrageous data roaming system and billing where I was charged R6000 for Oct 2013!

I went overseas and turned off the data on the phone. So data was "OFF"... meaning no data can be used right? Wrong.

No one at Vodacom cared to assist me during my trip or understood this problem so it continued (I dont mind one day of roaming charges and be informed of why/what to do).

I was in contact with accounts and the Vodacom Hout Bay shop who also refer you to the Apple manual (impossible when overseas). Bunch of monkeys.

So all at Vodacom are incompetent and unable to assist with serious monetary issues.

No refund is offered of course, its Apple and my fault according to Vodacom, nor anyone at Vodacom wishes to make this right with me.

One cant help but want to damage any Vodacom branding / shop / sign / brochures in public.

Terribly disappointed customer getting taken advantage of by your red tape and corporate contracts.

By the way I own Vodacom shares and as a shareholder I dont think its right to be unethical.
