Lying in an attempt to get me to upgrade

I phoned in to find out why my BIS wasn't working and they said my BIS had expired due to me needing an upgrade. So they phoned my mother who is the account holder to confirm details. The individual then phoned me back and said that my mother had said I MUST upgrade my contract, I didn't think this was like her, so I said I will call her after this call, but can they please put my BIS on so long s I need it for work. I was then told that I needed permission from my mother to activate my BIS which is cheap, but yet they were going to let me sign a R400p/month contract without her consent, if that's not disgusting and unethical I don't know what is. Completely put off, I will now let my contract run out and I will switch suppliers.
