My phone was delivered on the 15th Jan, my prepaid number was not ported as requested. This took 2 days and 2 calls before it was completed. Then problems started with data connectivity. After 2 calls into technical support the problem was not resolved. I requested an escalation to a manager 3 times which was ignored. At work I cannot get any data connectivity as CellC is forcing me to use a proxy yet the connection roams onto the Vodacom network and data fails. Also sms's and calls fail as well. I called in on the 24th and spoke to Precious who said she reviewed the calls and advised I can return the phone and I needed to switch the phone off. 2 days later phone is not collected. I call and speak to Emmanuel who advises me I cannot return the phone. The consumer protection act states that if I purchase something which cannot be used for its intended purpose I am entitled to return it. Emmanual states I exceeded the 5 days of their T&C's despite it taking 2 days just to transfer my old number. Cell C cannot contract outside the law, I did not waive my rights to the CPA
