EXTREME DATA USED

I am with mtn since I got my first cellphone (about 30 years) this is the first time ever that I got an account for data been used to the amount of R 7375.73. I phoned in and logged a request. The data specialist emailed me to say that the data used was on my phone. I asked for more info like times on the internet or emails send to whoever, but no reply. This was on the 10th of October. Today I got a new account - the data usage is R 11398.98. When i got the first account with this extreme amount I deleted the weather program I had on, as this was the only thing that could use internet according to me. This month it is even higher. I have a computer with a data card, and a tablet with a data card, so why on earth would I use a phone for that. Most of the times this phone is used on the farm, where we struggle with signal. So I want to know how is this possible. If I can get the details to see where we have emailed or sites we have visited then maybe I will get an answer there. I think it is bad if you have a problem like this, and the response from the service provider is non existing. That after I received a call to rate their service, and I told the person that I am very unhappy
