Vodacom
Refusing to acknowledge fault

I had purchased a new Samsung S4 mini on 12/10/2013 from Vodacom Cellucity N1 City (021-5954737). On 18.10.2013 my cell phone was. I reported to the SAP Milnerton (021-5508350) on 19.10.2013. Case number540/10/2013. I reported the incident to the vodacom call center on the evening of 18.10.2013.(ref no : 145498842). I was notified by the consultant on the phone to go to Vodacom and collect a new phone as the phone was still new. I approached Brian on 2 occassions and by telephone and was repeatedly told that nothing could be done as there was no insurance and that it was not the shops problem. Upon inspecting the "individual contract agreement" I saw that no insurance was offered to me and the blocks for yes or no was not ticked off and the document was completed very haphazardly. Since Vodacom erred in not offering me insurance I would say that they are responsible and should replace the phone. My name and contact number is S. Anthony 083 364 3762 .
