Landline not working - 319CWZ231013

My Mom who is a pensioner and lives alone logged a call with the above-mentioned reference number. A techinician came out on the same day to"fix" the problem. This morning the phone was not working AGAIN! I called this morning to log the fault and the call centre agent was adamant on making life difficult by wasting precious time I did not have! He put me on hold for the supervisor who never even made it to the phone! From the time that I was actually counting, I had already been holding on for more than 20 minutes! The line eventually cut out or they hung up because the connection was lost. This is ludicrous! I have lost count of how many times I've had to log faults with Telkom for my Mom's landline. They are so quick to send that bill on time every month and expect her to pay exorbitant rates considering that she's a pensioner but she has to be happy with their sloppy service. I was going to ask for both the agent and supervisors name but couldn't because of the dropped line. I am so sick and tired of Telkom's pathetic service. If you know that cable is rife in an area THEN REPLACE THEM WITH AN ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION! Telkom your service is sickening! SERIOUOSLY!
