Recently I upgraded my Afrihost package from a 1mb line to a 2mb line, however, the results have been terrible, usually on my 1mb line I would get up to 100kb/s download speeds, but for some reason my 2mb line only produces download speeds of up to 9kb/s. I have spoken to Afrihost client support a few times and constantly I am told that I am being shaped and should wait for about a week and then downloading speeds would be back to normal, however, it has been more than three weeks and I am still stuck with speeds up to 10kb/s.
