Following the rain last weekend - our service was interrupted terrible - the entire area using the exchange I am on seems to be affected.
My phone line, and ADSL are both down.
I logged a fault with my ISP (Cybersmart) - who then logged the fault with Telkom. Some time during the week, surprisingly, my ADSL starts working, but the phone isn't. The ADSL kept on dropping though, so it wasn't very stable.
Come Saturday morning - one of the people in the same neighborhood informs me that their phone line is suddenly working - however, same day, my ADSL stops working.
What are these people doing? Chopping and changing and giving priority to some people over other people? Why is the restoration of service inconsistent? One day it starts working partially, next day it doesn't, but some other person's line starts working - what is going on? It's almost a week - please have this sorted out, I am including my telephone number in the Acc/Policy field.
