If you are planning on prematurely cancelling your vodacom contract, make sure that you have a lot of airtime available to follow up on this ridiculous process.

1. You will need to get a cancellation quotation and pay the money into their account.
2. You will fax and email these documents and proof of payment to them
3. You will receive an email from them to say that your email contains no attachments.
4. You will resend the email to them and capture a screen shot of your email to prove that all documents have been attached
5. You will receive an email again saying that there are no attachments to the email
6. You will phone them with your reference number and they won't know what the is going on
7. They will speak to their manager "and get back to you"
8. You will email customer care who will email you to provide them with confidential info via email before they contact you
9. You will ask them if they are crazy to expect this
10. They will phone you and listen to your problem and promise to sort it out and give you feedback

YOU WILL NOT! YOU WILL USE OVER R100 AIRTIME ON THIS.. MINIMUM. IT STILL WON'T BE SORTED OUT, EVEN IF YOU DID YOUR PART BY PAYING THE BILL
