Vodacom
Contract cancelled, still being debited

In September 2011 I cancelled my contract with Vodacom so that I could have a company cell phone. The company I work for only has contracts with MTN, so I paid the early cancellation fee to Vodacom and ported my number to MTN. Proof of payment for the early cancellation fee was sent to Vodacom. However, since then Vodacom have continued to debit my bank account: R150.00 to a total now of R2400! In December last year I contacted the call centre and was put through to the cancellations department. I resent the proof of payment. End of December I was debited again! I called a few times again in January but I am still being debited. I called again today and was told that the paperwork was with the "team leader" who is not in today. I am at wits end and have no idea how to proceed to get this matter closed and my money refunded.
Utterly Disgusted: 8 Months after writing the report and more than two years since the whole issue started, this is still not resolved. Despite numerous attempts by email and a few phone calls, I have not had a response since April. Vodacom is still debiting my account and now owes me R3750 excluding interest.
