I received my Vodacom internet statement on Wednesday 16/10/2013 and noticed an amount of R120.69 for Content Services and Data Usage had been billed. I went to Vodacom to query this amount and was informed that it was from a company called Cell Spice who appear to be a subsidiary of Mira Networks. The consultant tried to reverse the amount but was not successful. She then made some inquiries and obtained a local telephone number for Mira Networks but there was no reply.
I phoned my bank but they advised me to not stop the debit order as this could cause problems with Vodacom. I tried the number of Mira repeatedly for 2 (two) days without success. I even looked up the address and drove past the house. There was a vehicle in the driveway but still no reply to my calls. I looked up Mira Networks on the internet and sent an email on 18/10/2013 requesting them to reverse the charges but have not yet received an answer.
I have unsubscribed which was accepted but this is the second time this has happened, the first time being 29/10/2012.
