This has been going of for some weeks, My line is working but it generates a huge amount of upstream CRC Errors. This eventually causes the DSL to Stall until you reset the modem. Now I know, My ISP Knows and Telkom knows that this is a faulty port at the Exchange.
The problem is I report the fault and the technician checks the line and promptly clears the fault. Even when I specifically ask them to call me before they clear the fault the never do.
All I want is for a senior person to take a little interest in the fault and get the Technician to actually listen to me. I am sure if we work together we can solve this fault instead of dancing around the problem.
I want to continue to believe that Telkom is a competent technology provider with the best solutions at the best price.
