I've been a loyal Mweb customer for over a year now. Earlier this year Mweb send me an Abuse email in which they say I'm not allowed to download huge files. They said they will be throttling me unless I stop. As a result I stopped and regulated my downloads to give everybody a fair internet experience. All went well until last week when suddenly they throttled me so badly that i'm getting 0.05mb/s speeds while trying to browse the internet!
Even checking emails now takes a few min! this is so slow.. we cant work like this. I emailed, called them a few times and all they said is that they cant to anything. they said to stop the throttling I must upgrade to the package that cost double the price!
This is really unacceptable as even over the weekend we were getting maximum 0.05mb/s.. I have now cancelled Mweb and will be going to Afrihost. Surely throttling would be acceptable during business hours.. but 24/7 - Its been a week now!
Im really dissipointed in Mweb!
