Still no replacement handset

After many frustrating phone calls starting 24 Sep, I had escalated my replacement handset to Vodacom aftersales on the 7 October via email to Patricia Lamola. She had committed to giving me feedback and I am still waiting. I have had to call in everyday since then, each time the operator committing to giving me feedback. No one ever gets back to me. I have spent literally at leact 30 mins on the phone each day since then. Today I spoke to another operator who told me that he was waiting for feedback from senior management. I am very frustrated, how long can it take for them to issue me with a replacement? How much work does it entail to authorise this? I asked him to put me through to a supervisor, and waited for almost 20 minutes before he got back on the line and told me that his supervisor was very busy and will only get back in the next two hours! I don't believe that... based on their track record of getting back to customers. They don't have the fainest idea of what Customer Service means... Vodacom is just passing the buck once more... my phone was damaged due to their incompetence in the first place... and now instead of replacing my handset they just giving me the run around
