Vodacom deducted an amount of 3K from my bank account in error on 16 Sept '13. I logged a complaint and dealt with Faiek Mohamed who assured me that, after investigation, Vodacom will refund me an amount of R2826.03. I received this confirmation on 23 Sept telephonically, as well as via sms. I was informed by Sharlton Davids as well as Faiek Mohamed on 30 Sept that i will be refunded. I made it blatantly clear that i did not want a credit note, but a refund. Faiek informed me that the refund to my bank acc will take 10-14 working days and confirmed telephonically that 14 days ended on 14 Oct '13. I was informed today that a credit note was issued!!! After i confirmed via e-mail numerous times that i be refunded. Now the amount is R2460... and i'm being billed for corporate acc, which is sponsored by my employer? I'm NOT prepared to wait another 14 days for my refund! i've been patient enough. Sort this out NOW!!! Vodacom, YOU messed up and now you expect me to be patient??? I was told that as a "gesture of good will" Vodacom might refund me within 14 days?? really??? when Vodacom deducts amounts in error???
