Dear Sir/Madam
I have logged in my HTC one for repairs at Cresta Vodacare on the 10/09/2013.
On the day of handing it in I was assured by the service provider that it will take maximum 7-14 working days.
On the 20th (10days later) they then updated me after I phoned in, that they were waiting for insurance to approve, which apparently was done on the 20th.
Today is 15 of October, I have not received a single call from Vodacom/vodacare regarding my phone or the work being done on it.
I continue to pay close to 500 rand a month for a phone I don not have.
I finally took matters into my own hands and phone the third party - HTC in this case, they said the phone (which had a cracked glass-not even a cracked LCD) cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced.
Does it take this long routinely to exchange phones?
