My contract permanently deactivated

Sometime in june i kindly asked cell c constants @the call centre to cancell my two other contracts and leave one contract because the other two were paid up.i fax through everything and explained to them that on the one cell c number as a reference i entered a wrong number so i was told they will fix it once i fax through proof of payment because they where still billing me on that sim card contract which was paid so to my knowledge that was sorted i even received my refund for billing me on that contract nw friday i get an sms saying that my contract hs been permanently deactivated and i called to find out i ws told i owe R1300 nw my question is hw can i owe so much over a contract that is new because the only contract i have with cell c is the one i took out begining of the year that deducts R99 from my account every month so according to my knowledge from january up until now i could never owe so much because the contract was taken in january and it deducts R99 every month so could somebody who knows what he or she is hired to do please call me and let me know what is happening becuase i have had enough nw really cell c used to b the best but lately i have had enough with thei
