I took out a 24 month contract with cell c in October 2011 and I had given written notice over two months ago already for the termination of this contract however I still sit with this contract number as active!
I have copies of written termination notice and the original contract I signed in October 2011. Amazingly my contract has not been terminated as I wanted it to be and by right. Note that my contract is paid up and I have never missed a single payment for this contract or anything else in my life.
Very irate I went into Cell C Howard centre but staff there were hopeless! They couldn't assist me. They even had an incorrect contract termination date on their system so I had to go back home and fetch my original contract documentation to prove cell c wrong as they had put a false date on the system. having shown the proof to the manager he phoned head office and i overheard some of the convo, it took forever for me only to be told my sim will be deactivated by 7pm later that evening. I asked who would ensure this was done and was given the name of a Mr Christians at head office. i took his cell number.
Needless to say 7pm came and passes and I am still sitting with an
