Vodacom has an online special offering a Galaxy Note 3 with a flip cover. After placing my order on 4th October, I took delivery of the package on 7th October, only to find a wrong sized SIM card and no flip cover. Two days later, a wrong sized SIM was delivered again and still no flip cover.
After many calls to various departments, the following was explained to me: The online AD is placed by "Interactive" on VODACOM's website, which is different from telesales. The cover is forthcoming from "Interactive" not telesales. I ordered through telesales and therefor won't get a cover. There's no ways "joe public" would ever know this.
I've been told I can return the device and can't be guaranteed that the deal including a cover will be available at all in future. At the time of writing this, the AD is still online! I believe this to be false, misleading advertising as my order was processed while there was no stock. It's been 7 days now and they've still not delivered a correct SIM. It feels as if they've said: "like it or leave it"
