Efusing to pay until account is sorted

I started with telkom in the beginning of the year and it was for a promo in vangate for about r400 a month, there was one month i wasnt able to pay as i changed jobs and money came in late so i made arrangements to pay r300 a month as they suspended the line, the bill then became higher and higher and i called to cancel and have still been making the r300 payments as per arrangement. they then called to find out if i wanted to cancel and i said yes, later i received a bill saying i owe over r2000 and they activated the line again with out consulting me i called and spoke to the same lady i cancelled with the first time and even she says she remembers me cancelling and she will put it through again, they then activated the line again and sent me another bill. and for the past few months they would send me messages saying r1000 and something was credited then id get a Bill again or sms saying differently. i am through with contacting telkom and would like this to be sorted i cancelled in march already you need to check you records. if this is not sorted soon i will be taking it further. i have been paying every month and nothing has been happening.
