Telkom stopped attending complaints about my ADSL

Telkom stopped attending productively to my complaints about ADSL performance.

Since March the downloading of files (even only 100 MByte files) is almost impossible!
Every download of files gets timed out randomly somewhere along the length of the file.
The modem stays initialized/synched and the Internet connection is not interrupted.
There is no possibility to download a complete file.

But with my Afrihost account all goes perfect!!
It's the same line and same setup. Telkom checked, checked and rechecked ad nauseam,
but are unable to solve this (their) technical problem. Seems it's just too much high tech for them.
Line is OK, connection speed of 1 Mbps is OK, Modem stats are OK and
the "Attainable Rate" shows 19000 Kbps.

These Telkom ADSL problems started when they introduced their "Soft-Capped" feature.
The years before I had absolutely no technical problems with them.

All these escalation reference numbers I'v collected so far are just that, numbers...
They make you think Telkom is caring about your problems. But the reality...

I'm so frustrated.
Even transfering my ADSL account to Afrihost wouldn't help much,
I still have to pay Telkom for the line.
What a farce.
