I have a contract at 8ta and own a Samsung Galaxy S2. Approximately 10 times a day the following message appears on the screen:'The mobile network will be unavailable until you restart with a valid SIM card inserted." When this message appears on the screen I can only press the restart button and the rest of the phone is completely useless in this state. When I restart the phone an average of 20% battery life is lost per restart, what this means is that within an hour I can easily lose 70% battery life. It happened multiple times over the past week. This is extremely frustrating as I actually use my phone and people need to get hold of me.
Now the classic 8ta response was we logged a case and will get back to you. They never did until I rashed them and went into the shop itself with the phone. Then they suggest a SIM swap. 2 SIM swaps later and the problem still remains.
I am in Stellenbosch and it has been promised multiple times that the new Bluechip SIM will be delivered to me. This was 16 days ago. Nothing happened. I have phoned over and over and nothing gets done expect talk of help but nothing switches to reality. 8ta your customer service is appalling!
