On the 28th of August I took out two contracts with 8ta at Lakeside mall (Benoni), for the amount of R898.00 for both S4 Cellphones. The sales consultant informed that my payments monthly would be R898.00 incl. all additional charges as well as a Pro Rata charge from the 28th August till the 31st August 2013 for calls. He blatantly failed to inform me that the Pro Rata charges would include the 2 Devices. 30/09/2013 my account was debited with the amount of R1623.56! which is almost double my premium. I contacted the call center and spoke to Norma and she informed me that nothing could be done as this was part of the fine print of my contract. I am completely dissatisfied with 8ta's Service. I have budgeted for one months premium and now I have to acquire the money for two months premium. This is completely unacceptable and I would definitely not recommend 8ta to anyone. The sales consultant should have mentioned the enormous increase in the pro rata charges and should have stipulated the extra cost of the 2 phones, giving me the excuse that it is part of the fine print of my contract is completely UNACCEPTABLE. They should have advised me to take out the contracts in the new month.
